As the global association for the attractions industry, the health and safety of our members, their guests and employees is our top priority. IAAPA has been actively monitoring the outbreak of the coronavirus that originated in China. We are working with our IAAPA Asia Pacific offices to receive timely updates and help provide support to members located in the region. We are also following the daily updates and recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO).
IAAPA Events and Activities
Out of abundance of caution and given travel restrictions in the region, the Meet IAAPA event scheduled for March 22 in Beijing, China, has been cancelled. We are closely monitoring other events in the Asia-Pacific region.
Given the novel coronavirus outbreak is a rapidly evolving situation and the fact IAAPA Expo Asia is scheduled to take place more than four months away in June, IAAPA has not yet made any changes to the plan. We are aware of important deadlines for shipping materials and making travel plans, and we are targeting to make a decision regarding the status of IAAPA Expo Asia in mid-March.

Letter from the Vice President
Welcome to IAAPA Asia Pacific. Our team is here to serve IAAPA members in the region by providing
valuable resources and benefits, working with various government organizations to highlight industry
best practices, and promoting important industry safety standards. As a global association, we invite
you to share your expertise by volunteering on one of our many Committees to help advance IAAPA’s
mission and vision throughout Asia Pacific and the world. There are also many other ways to engage
with IAAPA, including speaking opportunities and various in-person or online educational events and
program. We look forward to serving you.
