Andrew Wexler Goes In-depth on Grow U
There’s a rewarding new benefit to working at an attraction owned by Herschend Family Entertainment: 100% free tuition. Beginning February 24, seasonal, part-time, and full-time employees will qualify for the benefit that will cover the cost of tuition and books.
The new Grow U program aims to make obtaining a higher education easier for employees to pursue their personal and professional dreams.
“Herschend is rooted in love,” says Andrew Wexler, CEO of Herschend Family Entertainment. “It’s evident at every Herschend property in the way we treat and support each other, how we create memories worth repeating for guests, and most importantly, how we care for our employees.”
Interest in Grow U is strong. In fact, Wexler tells IAAPA News that some of the company’s websites have seen traffic increase six-fold over the average page views recorded each February.
Employees at 25 US attractions—including The Harlem Globetrotters, Silver Dollar City, Adventure Aquarium in New Jersey, Newport Aquarium, Kentucky Kingdom, Wild Adventures, Pink Adventure Tours, and Dollywood—will qualify.
