Education Conference Program

Details coming May 2019.

AAPA Expo is comprised of two interactive and informative categories of learning opportunities: Educational Seminars and In-Depth Learning Experiences.

With more than 100 educational options such as the popular behind-the-scenes EDUTours, professional development institutes, and more to choose from, now is the time to experience the IAAPA Expo Conference Program.

Educational Seminars

11.13.17_Lunch_and_Learn_0023Led by experts in the attractions industry, attendees are exposed to 100+ educational seminars designed specifically for amusement park, family entertainment center, water park, museums, zoo, aquariums and theme park professionals. Educational seminars are scheduled throughout the day Monday through Friday at Expo.

Several educational seminars are translated simultaneously into Spanish and/or Portuguese.

Participation in the educational seminars is complimentary to IAAPA members as part of Expo registration. A valid Expo badge must be worn to gain access to the educational seminars.

Nonmembers may attend the educational seminars by purchasing the Education Conference Program package during the online registration process or on-site at the expo. Access to 100+ educational seminars for nonmembers is US$349 per person.

In-depth Learning Experiences

Many of IAAPA’s most popular educational events are those that provide participants with more intensive opportunities to explore subjects. Whether visiting a local attraction on a behind the scenes tour – EDUTour – or  collaborating with peers in the IAAPA Institute for Attractions Managers or IAAPA Safety Institute programs, IAAPA’s in-depth learning experiences offer attendees exclusive access, networking, and expertise. Attendance is limited and you must be 18 year or older to participate.

In-depth Learning Experiences are individually priced and require a ticket for participation. Tickets may be purchased during the online registration process or on an available only basis, on-site at the expo. Tickets sell out for many of these popular in-depth learning experience.
