The IAAPA Attractions Expo 2012 Education Program will feature over 85 education seminars, luncheon events, and roundtable discussions. Tracks of themed content will be offered for the following constituencies:

Additional education seminars addressing a variety of operational areas are being developed by IAAPA's Program Planning committees. These committes have put together a slate of sessions to specifically address topics faced by our industry in the following areas:
The majority of education seminars are 'General Interest Sessions.' IAAPA members who register and attend IAAPA Attractions Expo 2012 may attend General Interest Sessions and Friday Symposiums at no additional cost. Nonmembers may purchase the Education Program to gain access to those sessions. Seating is on a first come, first served basis with capacities in accordance with fire marshall codes.
Special programs such as luncheons, receptions, full-day and multi-day IAAPA Institutes, Zoo & Aquarium Day, and Museum & Science Center Day, and tours require a separate ticket. Advance registration is required for all ticketed events. Tickets may be purchased through the registration portion of this website.

Incident Management Symposium

Learn ways to better prepare your company for the unexpected when you attend this interactive session on crisis incident management. Experience crisis decision making in a dynamic setting, and learn best practices on incident management, command structures, critical response teams, and maintaining essential business operations. The event will include a simulated crisis disaster scenario where attendees will participate, make decisions, and begin to adapt these best practices to your unique company needs.
This Symposium will lead participants through a variety of scenarios. Working in small discussion groups, participants will explore key elements and factors to consider in each scenario.
This Symposium is not open to the media.

Inflatables Symposium: The inflatable operators’ symposium is a half-day education program focused on the needs of the operators of inflatable attractions. This session is developed for operators who rent inflatables to third parties and the public, operate this product (in special events, etc.), or operate an inflatable attraction within a larger facility – such a family entertainment center.

Trade Show Floor Tour of Inflatable Product Suppliers: This popular tour, offered on Thursday, Nov. 15, offers participants an effiecient way to be guided through the massive show floor directly to inflatables suppliers who will provide brief overviews of their products and services. Attendee pre-registration is required.
Exhibitors can sign up to be included as a stop along the tour.
In addition, many of the General Interest programs in the Family Entertainment Center track will cover topics and issues that are relevant to inflatables suppliers and operators.

IAAPA Attractions Expo’s education program is a US$329 value, and IAAPA members get it free! Nonmembers may purchase entry to the education sessions for US$329 in addition to Expo registration. Separate registration or ticket required for Institute programs, tours, special events, and lunch events for both members and nonmembers. Register in advance, or onsite vsit IAAPA Registration in the North and South Concourses for details.
By attending an IAAPA-sponsored Expo or other event, I recognize and accept that some exhibits, amusement park rides, attractions or other installations of facilities (collectively, "attractions") may pose risk of discomfort or injury to myself or other attendees or damage to my clothing or property.
