Sign up for IAAPA's Food and Beverage (F&B) Consulting Program, and get advice from some of the best brains in the industry on how to improve your F&B operations. Create the Best Menu Mix for Your Operation
To maximize revenue and profits, not all menus should be the same. In this session, learn how guest demographics, length of stay, season pass holder trends, proximity to competitors, operational policies, kitchen capacity, and staff expertise influence what to sell and how to sell it. The session will explore various service concepts and formats (quick-serve, full-service, etc.) and the best types of menu items to maximize your per caps while providing a great guest experience.

Food & Beverage 101
Join us for an interactive session on the ABCs of cash handling/internal controls, basic employee/supervisor training, and identifying and implementing cost control programs. This session will provide you the tools necessary to create a simple cash control process along with an employee training program leading to more productive and efficient daily operations. Our presenters will guide you through basic “cost of goods” instruction and provide inventory control strategies to positively impact your operation. The target audiences for this session are new operators with minimal Food Service experience/knowledge or current industry members looking for a new and fresh perspective.

Constituency Lunch for FECs: Food and Beverage Case Study
Participate in an open forum and examine what works, what doesn’t, and what’s new. Veteran operators and food service gurus Ken Whiting and Lenny Freund, will present a case study of the F&B service at Funopolis Family Fun Center, including complete evaluation, before-and-after recommendations, and the financial results of the changes implemented at Funopolis. The case study will lead into discussion with Rick Iceberg, CJ Barrymore’s; Chris Seaton, Mulligan’s Family Fun Center; Ken Whiting, Whitings Foods; Lenny Freund, Freunds Foods; and members of the Family Entertainment Center (FEC) Committee as they explore food and beverage service in FECs.

Incident Management Symposium
Learn ways to better prepare your company for the unexpected when you attend this interactive session on crisis incident management. Experience crisis decision making in a dynamic setting, and learn best practices on incident management, command structures, critical response teams, and maintaining essential business operations. The event will include a simulated crisis disaster scenario where attendees will participate, make decisions, and begin to adapt these best practices to your unique company needs.
This Symposium will lead participants through a variety of scenarios. Working in small discussion groups, participants will explore key elements and factors to consider in each scenario.

IAAPA Attractions Expo’s education program is a US$329 value, and IAAPA members get it free! Nonmembers may purchase entry to the education sessions for US$329 in addition to Expo registration.
